Our Institution is a level 1 trauma centre, with one of the busiest, fully developed modern Emergency Department in and around Chennai. We have a triage system in place to prioritize the patients according to the severity of illness with average patient visiting ER around 50,000 – 60,000 per year.
Our Emergency department was started on 2014 and managed by a team of Emergency Physicians 24×7 supported by specialty and super specialty departments like Cardiology, Plastic Surgery, Nephrology, Urology, CTVS, Gastroenterology and Oncology departments. It is also backed up by 24×7 Radiology, Blood Bank, Emergency OT and laboratory services. We are a 30 bedded Emergency Department with a 5 bedded step-down ICU.
Ambulance Services has Inter-hospital and Intra-Hospital facilities accompanied by qualified paramedic and nursing team guided by Emergency physicians.
Various academic training programmes are being conducted including BLS, ACLS, PALS, ITLS, and PHTLS. Our Institution is planning to start various programmes like MD (Emergency Mediicne, MEM (GWU) and B.Sc – TCM (Trauma Care Management)
