  • As put forth by NMC, we in the department of Anatomy have implemented various methods of teaching to bring about a holistic development of a medical graduate into a skilled and empathetic doctor
  • DOAP (Demonstration- Observation - Assistance. - Performance) has been incorporated on a day-to-day basis in dissection hall and histology practical sessions.
  • Clinical problem-oriented learning and case-based learning has been implemented for the past 4 years (25 marks in university question paper is exclusively for case-based learning).
  • Attitude, Ethics and Communication. (AETCOM) has been given importance right from first year of medical curriculum as put forth by NMC and has weightage of 5 marks in the university examination.

  • 150 embryology models and 98 embryology wet specimens aid in the understanding of developmental anatomy.
  • Laminated system wise charts available for gross anatomy & microanatomy learning.
  • OHP sheets which are exact replicas of microscopic view of slides is available for microanatomy learning.
  • Over 100 X-ray films, CT & MRI films for learning radiological anatomy.
