Two days National conference on "7th Advance courses in Clinical Pharmacology”" ACCP- 2022 was organized by SRM Centre for Clinical Trials & Research and the Department of Pharmacology in association with Indian Pharmacological Society(IPS) on 22-23rd December, 2022 at New Lecture Hall II, II Floor, SRM Medical College. The total registration for the conference was 120 including faculties and students from colleges all over the country had registered. In the scientific session, around 28 e-poster abstracts were presented. The selected 10 abstracts were presented by delegates through offline poster on 23.12.2022 in parallel sessions under 03 external judges. Out of 24 groups (48 participants) 4 groups were selected for final quiz competition.

The program started with registration at 8 AM, Dr.Satyajit Mohapatra, Director, CCTR, introduced SRM CCTR and ACCP 2022. The scientific session was conducted in ywo days. The following speakers gave valuable insights into their respective topics in the first day Introduction to clinical pharmacology and its clinical relevance, Dr. Bikash Medhi , PGIMER, Chandigarh. Clinical Trial Scenario in India: Collaborative approach from Academia & Industries, Dr. Chirag Trivedi Global Head CSU, Sanofi. Ethical & Regulatory challenges in sponsored clinical trials Dr. Sanish Davi , R&D Director, J&J. Pharmacogenomics and its clinical implications Dr. Priyadharsini.R JIPMER, Puducherry. Emphasis of therapeutic drug monitoring in clinical practice: Dr. Binu Susan Mathew, CMC, Vellore. Current status of safety programs in Indian context: Dr. Bikash Medhi PGIMER, Chandigarh. Evidence based medicine - practical approach, Dr. Ajay Prakash, PGIMER, Chandigarh. Insights on PK, PD Modelling Dr. Sudhir Sarangi, AIIMS, Delhi. Biologics & its therapeutic application; Dr. Subhadeep D Sinha, VP, Hetero Drugs. Day ended with quiz preliminary round.

A brief inaugural ceremony was conducted, presided over by the Dean Medical Dr.A Sundaram, SRMMCH&RC. The chief guest Prof. Bikas Medhi, and guest of honor Prof Dr. T.Mythili were felicitated. Program had august presence of Dr. K.V. Leela, Associate Dean, UG Academics, Dr. J.S.Kumar, Associate Dean PG academics Dr. R.
