Of the Eighteen operation theatres thirteen have the stainless steel system with latest laminar flow an exhaust system. Day care surgeries are managed in the ground floor O.T. There are four minor operation theaters – two in the surgical outpatient department block one in the labor room and one in casualty to cater to minor cases and septic cases. They are equipped with facilities on par with any other O.Ts. The monitoring equipment like the multi-parameter monitors and side stream Capnography machines are of high standards. Separate pre-medication and recovery rooms are aptly located, adjacent to the main operation theater. The entire block is maintained as a sterile zone through periodic fumigation. Sterilization is double checked with periodic bacterial contamination detection by means of procedures dictated by the Microbiology Department.
Our hospital has and two liquid oxygen plants and a gas manifold that caters to the needs of the entire hospital. An air compressor unit and a central suction unit functions and take care for the needs of the entire hospital. We have a separate CSSD with double door autoclave and ETO sterilizer which functions round the clock.
